HOW TO PRAY FOR UNSAVED FAMILY MEMBERS

Praying for unsaved family members, whether there's a deep bond of love or strained relations, is an act of profound compassion and faith. Go beyond your personal feelings and tap into the deeper aspect "Salvation". Regardless of the complexities of the family dynamics your into, the desire for spiritual well-being of you all should be your priority.

Ever wondered what you can do to serve God?. Ever wondered what kind of prayers are called "according to His will"?. Definitely, the prayers that you do for your unsaved family members is the answer to it. God protects you, blesses you and he needs something in return for that. It's like paying the price for the peace your experiencing. Always remember that relationship with Christ is a two way relationship. I always mention this in my posts, having a two way relationship is very important.

PRAY AND LEAVE IT TO GOD

Through prayer we must acknowledge our limitations and surrender our concerns to God. Trust in the transformative power of God. Remove the questions like "WHEN" and "HOW" from your brain completely. It takes just months for some, but for most of us it takes decades. I've been praying for my father- a born orthodox Muslim, to receive Christ as his savior for more than a decade now. Just make it a habit to pray and make it a daily routine. Have hope for them and believe that the love of God can penetrate even the hardest of hearts. 

HOW TO PRAY

Let Holy spirit be your guide. Have a connection with him. Many of my Christian friends find it crazy when I say I've heard God's voice or Holy spirit told me to do so. For someone who's been indulging in prayers and regular bible readings and fasting's, this is not something unusual. God answers your prayers, He talks back in a subtle voice when you kneel and pray in a quiet place. If you're someone like my friends who have never experienced this kind of relationship with Holy spirit, Don't start praying for souls. Your not ready for it. Build yourself in God first, know him, establish a relationship with him, make sure you build a relationship with Holy spirit where you two communicate. I was asked to pray for my father only after 10 years of me walking with Christ and not before that. 

What to do for that?, spend time in prayers, do fasting's. When you pray every morning kneeling in his presence, wait for a while after your done. He really talks back. This is how it started in my case. This was followed by devil going crazy and his attacks started to rain on me. I've had my set of good days and bad days. Some days were hell. Some days I even felt hell would be better than this. I begged God to kill me. I asked him to at least allow me to die because whenever I tried to kill myself some power was stopping me. I wish you luck for yours seriously.

You can stay connected with God all along your day with thanks giving. You will listen his voice guiding you, follow the voice and you'll know whether it's God's voice or evil spirit voice. Experience is the best teacher.

PROTECT YOURSELF FROM DEMONIC ATTACKS.

Early in the morning kneel down, bow your head down and say out loud "Jesus forgive me my sins, wash me with your blood". Now, confess, "I cover myself with the blood of Jesus, and I cover my family(mention each and every family member by their name) with the blood of Jesus, I command every evil to stay away from us for all this day and all this night, I cancel every demonic activity being plotted against all of us". 

When praying for souls it's very important to guard ourselves against demonic powers. This is possible only by grounding our prayers in the authority of Jesus Christ. Invoking the power of the blood of Jesus in prayers serves as a potent weapon against demonic powers. Surrounding ourselves with fellow believers who can provide support, encouragement and accountability is also crucial in maintaining spiritual resilience. Finally, staying vigilant and discerning in the spirit realm allows us to recognize and resist any deceptive tactics or distractions designed to derail us from our prayers. Through these practices we can confidently intercede for souls while standing firm against the wiles of devil.
